Dalian LNG Project

Name: Dalian LNG Receiving terminal      Project
     Owner: CNPC Dalian LNG Co. Ltd.
     Site: Dalian Economic Development      Zone

The Project is composed of dock, receiving      terminal and gas transmission pipeline. The receiving terminal is contracted by      HQCEC and the work scope covers basic design, detail design, procurement,      construction and startup service. Compared with other projects completed before      it, this project has the following characteristics: 1. the first LNG project      built in the north; 2. the first LNG project which adopts HQCEC’s proprietary      technology; 3. the first LNG project built and managed by a domestic engineering      company and with the owner+PMC+EPC execution management pattern; 4. the first      LNG project which uses 9%Ni steel plates for the key equipment - LNG storage      tanks.

Major Events on the Project
     1. February 3,      2008, the Project approved of by the National Development and Reform      Commission.
     2. February 21, 2008, Kick-Off Meeting held.
     3. April 18,      2008, Project Start Ceremony held.
     4. February 23, 2009, official EPC      contract signed.
     5. June 5, 2009, lifting and installation of No.2 tank      dome-roof completed.
