Lanzhou LS Petroleum Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lanzhou LS Group Co., Ltd. LS Group was founded in 1953. Merged by former Lanzhou Petrochemical Machinery Works and Lanzhou Refinery and Petrochemical Plant, which were two of 156 key projects of the China’s first ‘Five Year-Plan’.It is the largest production base of oil drilling, production machinery and refinery and chemical equipment in China. It makes outstanding contributions to petroleum and chemical industries development in China. It is honored as “Industrial Foundation of Gansu”, “Ridge Beam of China’s Petrochemical Machinery” and “Meritorious Enterprise of China Equipment” Where there is oilfield, there is LS drilling and production machinery. LS equipment has long and deep oil drilling rig manufacture history and technical basis, which can be traced back to Lanzhou Petrochemical Machinery Works. The predecessor of LS equipment was Lanzhou LS-National Oilwell Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd. which was a Sino-American joint venture established by LS Group and National Oilwell through joint investment in December 2000. In April 2013, all shares of National Oilwell were bought back by LS Group which changed the company name to Lanzhou LS Petroleum Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd. LS Equipment covers an area nearly 400mu.(27 hectare)There are 1632 employees includes 239 scientific and technical personnel now in the company. It is a professional oil drilling and production equipment manufacturing enterprise which integrates scientific research, development, design, manufacture and engineering technology service. It has the capacity of manufacturing various onshore oil drilling rigs, offshore drilling modules and various models of pumping units with drilling depth of 1000m to 12000m (450HP to 4000HP). Driving mode of oil drilling rig includes diesel direct drive, DC electric drive, AC variable frequency electric drive, mechanical-electric compound drive and mechanical transmission. The whole scheme, system module project, complete set of drilling rig, components of drilling rig, parts and all kinds of technical services are provided according to user requirement. The company has the sound management system and obtained API Q1 quality system certification issued by American Petroleum Institute and 4F, 7K and 8C monogram use permit (Lanzhou LS Shunyi Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd. as subordinate of the company has 11E certificate), ISO9001Quality Management System Authentication Certificate, ISO14001 Environmental Management System Authentication Certificate and GB/T28001Occupational Health and Safety Management System Authentication Certificate. All products undertaken by the company are designed, manufactured, inspected and implemented after-sales service under control of above mentioned management system. The products of the company are sold to more than 50 countries and regions such as the United States, Russia, Iran, Turkmen, Indonesia and Kenya. Domestic market share once reaches above 90%.
